to the problem:
1.Note the installation of mechanical seals

installation bias arising from installation

mm.
(2) Check the gland and the shaft or sleeve

B. Spring compression according to the
provisions, does not allow too large or too small phenomenon, requiring error
2.00 mm. Excessive face pressure to increase and the other speed face wear. Too
small will cause less than the pressure seal and can not play a role.
C. Ring-install it guaranteed the
flexibility to move the shaft, the ring is pressed against the rear springs
should be able to automatically bounce back.
2 Notes when removing the mechanical seal
A. When removing the mechanical seal
carefully, prohibited the use of hand-hammer and flat shovel to avoid damaging
the seal element. Do one pair wire hook in the direction of self-financing gap
extends into the driving seat at the seals out. If less than the time scale
demolition, should be cleaned before demolition.
B. When both ends if the pump mechanical
seal, in the assembly, disassembly process take care of each other, to prevent a
loss.
C. To run through mechanical seal, where a
loose gland seal from moving the case, then the static ring parts must be
replaced, it should continue to be used to re-tighten.
Mechanical seals normal operation and
maintenance problems:
1.Preparation before starting the
mechanical seal and notes
A. Comprehensive inspection of mechanical
seals and ancillary equipment and piping installation is complete, compliance
with technical requirements.
B. Before the mechanical seal startup
hydrostatic test, check the mechanical seals for leaks. If the leak is more,
you should find out the reason try to eliminate. If still valid, you should
check the disassembly and re-installation. General hydrostatic test pressure
for 2 to 3 kg / cm.
C. Press the pump rotation plate car, check
for light evenly. Such as hard disk drive, or fail to operate, you should check
whether the size of the error assembly, installation is reasonable.
2. Mechanical seal installation and
decommissioning
A. Before start should remain sealed cavity
filled with liquid. For when transporting solidified media applications vapor
sealed chamber heated to medium melt. Before starting the disk drive must be to
prevent a sudden start caused soft ring fragmentation.
B. For external use mechanical seal pump
seal oil system, enable the seal oil system. After stopping the last stop seal
oil system.
C. When the heat pump outage does not stop
immediately seal oil and seal chamber cooling water should be at the seal oil
drops below 80 degrees, it can stop the cooling water, so as not to damage the
sealing parts.
3. Mechanical
seal operation
A. After the pump is started if a slight
leakage, should be observed for a period of time. As four hours of continuous
operation, the leakage is still reduced, you should check the pump stops.
B. Operating pressure of the pump should be
stable, the pressure fluctuation is not more than 1 kg / cm.
C. The pump in operation, should avoid
taking the time phenomenon, so as to avoid the sealing surface of dry friction
and seal damage.
D. Always check the mechanical seals. Operation, when
the leakage exceeds the standard, heavy oil is not more than 5 drops / min,
light oil is not more than 10 / min, such as 2-3 days, still no signs of
improvement, it should stop the pump check bolt seal.
