1. Selection

2. Installation

part of the work.The installation process first of all should be emphasized:
(1) The installation process should always be
kept clean, especially the rotating ring and static ring sealing surface and
auxiliary seal surface should be without impurities, dirt and not allowed to
use clean cloth to wipe the sealing surface.
Can be in of dynamic and static sealing ring
of the friction surface coated with a small amount of machine oil, in case in
empty pump test result in sealing surface damage.
(2) Are not allowed to use the iron tool hitting
the seals, rotating parts should be carefully set on the axis, and several
times to tighten the retaining bolt equably, finally to oppression swivel
backwards with the hand, observe whether can swivel axial float.Need special
attention is that between the ring and static ring positive pressure regulation
to the advisable, with just can seal medium mechanical seal to prevent damage
to occur in a short period of time.
(3) The installation of mechanical seal
sealing face must have certain specific pressure (0.4 ~ 0.6 MPa), so as to
achieve the purpose of sealing, on both ends of the close degree can be
adjusted by the spring.In order to guarantee a certain pressure, the requirement
of pump shaft axial momentum is 0.5 mm or less.
(4) The pump shaft around too much, will cause
mechanical seal uneven force between two seal face, unable to form liquid
membrane, sealing function loss.

3. Daily maintenance
(1) Before the start of mechanical seal to
conduct a comprehensive inspection, and check the attached devices and pipeline
is installed as required.
(2) Before the start of must carry on the
static pressure test, general hydrostatic pressure is 0.2 ~ 0.3 MPa.Hydrostatic
test, the sealed cavity filled with fluid, barring manually.
(3) The use of pump mechanical seal oil system
should start the sealing oil system, parking finally stopped after sealing oil
system.After pump start-up if there is a slight leakage phenomenon, should
observe for a period of time.Such as leakage is still not reduced after 4 h of
continuous running, would probably have to stop the pump to check.
(4) Daily Tours of inspection and record, need
special attention is that: the operating pressure of the pump should be smooth,
suggest ≯ 0.1 Mpa pressure fluctuations.
(5) Seal of inspection, when the leakage
exceed standard, heavy oil ≯ 5 drops/min, light oil ≯ 10 drops/min, as observed in 2 days still no signs of
improvement, you should stop the pump to check sealing device.
(6) Should be paid attention to do a good job
in running lubrication, irrigation, cooling and other measures.
